Pat has been Associate Pastor at Bodega Bay Church since March 2001. Prior to that he served as Interim Associate Pastor, Elder, and Sunday School Teacher. Pat and his wife, Denice, have been a part of our church family since 1987. Pat accepted Christ as his Savior in 1986.
Pat was born and raised in the small town of Calistoga, CA, located in the Napa Valley. In 1969 he became a reserve police officer in his home town. In 1973 Pat became a full time police officer in Calistoga, and in 1975 he transferred to the Petaluma (CA) Police Department. After over 27 years with the Petaluma Police Department Pat retired in September 2002 as the Chief of Police. Upon retirement, Pat joined the ministry full time in Bodega Bay.
Since 2003 Pat has served with World Vision International as a trainer/consultant in the area of crisis management and personal safety and security. Pat has also been an adjunct faculty member at the Santa Rosa Junior College since 1982. He teaches police courses for the college as well as other community colleges throughout the state. His topics include such courses as leadership and ethics.
Pat holds a Bachelor's Degree in the Administration of Justice from Golden Gate University, and a Masters Degree in Business Management from Cal Poly, Pomona. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the California Command College, both courses that are designed to develop law enforcement leadership.
Pat has been married to his loving wife Denice since 1977. They have three grown sons and four grandchildren.
